I want to
understand how
things work.
People. Crime. Technology. Systems.
My interests sit at the intersection of criminology, criminal investigation, cybersecurity, technology and human behavior.
I am Haitian. My journey has included Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, France and the United States. Moving between different environments has shaped the way I think about opportunity, people, systems and the world around me.
My background is part of who I am, but it does not define the limits of where I am going.
Different fields.
One curiosity.
I have always been interested in understanding both people and systems — why people behave the way they do, how technology works, how problems develop and what evidence can tell us.
That curiosity has taken me through studies in computer science and economics, into criminology, and deeper into cybersecurity, networking, programming and technical systems.
People.
Behavior.
Evidence.
My experience as a Police Cadet introduced me more closely to the discipline, communication, documentation and attention to detail required in a public-safety environment.
Criminology continues to deepen my interest in crime, investigation, society and human behavior — especially the question of not only what happened, but why.
Received directly from the Chief during my Police Cadet experience.
Systems.
Threats.
Technology.
Cybersecurity gives me another environment in which to investigate: computers, networks, logs, threats and the digital evidence left behind when something happens.
My development includes hands-on labs in defensive security, incident response, threat hunting, malware analysis, networking, Linux, Windows systems and AI security.
The path wasn't
a straight line.
Criminology — Bachelor's Degree in Progress
Approximately three years of previous academic study. These programs were not completed.
The change in direction did not erase what I learned. It expanded the way I approach problems across people, technology, systems and investigation.
Communication
across worlds.
Protect people.
Follow the evidence.
Understand threats.
Build better systems.
The physical world and the digital world are increasingly connected. I want to understand both.
